Clothing Bank

Have you ever been cold? Have you ever been wet? Have you ever been in need?

Hundreds of people roam the streets of Washington with no place to keep warm. Often these same people have limited access to facilities to wash or mend their clothing.

Our clothing bank, located next to the offices of St. Vincent de Paul, offers gently used clothing at no charge to those who are in need of clothing. Cleints range from middle and low income families trying to clothe children, to the homeless and destitute.

In 2009:

They served 7,615 families and a total of 20,383 individuals in 2009.  Clothing is given away at no cost and is open to anyone in need.  Volunteers served an average of 69 hours per month and a total of 4,513 hours in 2009.

If you are interested in dropping off clothing, our drop box is located in the parking lot of the Downtown Church, 1055 Boundary St SE, Olympia WA 98501. Tax Receipts are available upon request.

The Donation Station will be Closed (locked) at 5:00 PM. For your convenience the Donation Station is usually open Monday thru Friday at 7:00 AM.

If you or someone you know is in need of clothing, simply come to the clothing bank during the operating hours.

Hours of operation for the Clothing Bank: Tues & Sat 9:30 am to 11:30 am AND Thurs 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
